I am of the view that war is indeed a necessary evil. Questions lingered over the legality of United States proceeding war against Iraq under international law. So overall war is a requirement, even though it loses many good men and women a lot more are saved in the prospect and even though it tears families apart, it brings much more together.

War is a necessary evil
